A Young architect leaves New Orleans to return to his family’s rice farm in a remote rural community in South Louisiana, following the death of his father. Seduced by the challenge of rice farming in a falling market and the attentions of an old flame, Ben decides to swap the rat race and superficiality of city life for a far more real struggle to save his heritage and rediscover his true roots.

"Add curious dishes like gumbo, jambalaya and dirty rice to the melodic sound of a Cajun band and the formula is enough to make this film a must…" simplyfood.co.uk
